I am a dad, a Texan, and a former Lubbock Texas Tech baseball player who bleeds Red and Black. Texas Tech University believed in me almost 30 years ago and I feel this is a way for me to show my gratitude and give back to the University that gave me a shot.
Wreck Yeah was created after watching the 2019 Texas Tech basketball games during the Final Four with awesome TTU fans in Ft. Worth & Snyder TX. The day after our incredible basketball season ended, a friend said how awesome it was to watch TTU play in the Final Four games, my response via text was "Wreck Yeah". This was the moment my Wreck Yeah journey began.
Two months later, our phenomenal baseball team went to Omaha for the 4th time and we took our first Wreck Yeah sports apparel with us. My gear was a huge hit among the Texas Tech fans who attended the World Series. My simple text message reply 2 months earlier then became 100% solidified.

WRECK YEAH!

The mission is to change the expression with the help of ALL TTU fans from Heck Yeah to Wreck Yeah. To give our Raider Nation an additional rally call...Raider Power to include Wreck Yeah….Wreck ‘Em to be answered back with a Wreck Yeah.
